A very popular over the counter
medication used as a temporary relief from for headache, migraine,
backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, arthritis, neuralgia,
toothache, period pain, colds, influenza, sore throat and help
reduce temperature.

damage and should not be used by people with liver disease.
Paracetamol was discovered in 1893
and became available by prescription only, in 1956, and then as an
over the counter medicine in 1963 and it is now one of the most
widely used pain relievers.
The active ingredient is Paracetamol
is also known as acetaminophen - Technical - Paracetamol is
4-acetamidophenol.
Panadol is a brand name for Paracetamol and in stores is more
expensive than unbranded Paracetamol.
